BOOK REPORT FOR LAST
NINE WEEKS
Please
ALWAYS have your book with you in the classroom to read after you finish
F&F work. This will be a grade. This book report consists of two parts:
Intellectual
Art Booklet
Complete the following on a separate sheet of copy
paper:
- Draw and illustrate
a cover page with your name, title and author. Attach the paper to a piece
of construction paper.
- Chips & salsa 2
on main character (at least 10 in each box)
- Plot line of your book
including the problem, climax, and resolution (at least 25 MAIN events
total)
- Decision Making Tree
- 4 vocabulary pages
for adjective, verbs, or adverbs you DO NOT know the meaning of (I
will be checking these carefully!) I will give you 4 vocabulary sheets. THEY MUST BE AN ADJECTIVE, VERB,
OR ADVERB
- On the back page put
a piece of construction paper and glue a 10 sentence summary of your book
onto the back cover facing outward
You will turn in your intellectual art stapled in
the above order.
Put this together
in a booklet form in this order.
Project:
In addition, you have a choice of making and
presenting to the class one of the following:
1.
Make a mobile using at least 5 related items in the
story. (be
very creative)
2.
Illustrate at least 5 important scenes in the book
using a Power Point presentation. You will use this to tell the summary of your book to the class. You
will need to email me your Power Point presentation.
3.
Make a collage of the book using major events and
items throughout the story.
Use a half sheet of poster board. There should be NO white or blank areas of
the poster showing.
4.
Make a diorama. Take a shoe box and build a scene from the book.
You may use toys, clay, grass, dirt, or whatever you wish to make the scenery,
and of course, draw or paint the background.
